In Tibetan Buddhism, there is a sacred practice
of making huge complex mandalas out of colored sand,
the monks working for many days to place the sand
in symbolic and intricate patterns, a visible offering
in which the act of creation is also prayer...
When it is complete, it is ceremonially destroyed,
pushing the sand from the outside to the center,
until all the colors are mixed and the pattern is dissolved.
Something is completed in your life.
Honor it now by releasing it with respect,
so that the next pattern may emerge.
