Lovely Aphrodite

Botticelli's Venus rises from the sea to affirm not only her own loveliness, but yours as well! This rosary is made from rutilated quartz beads, cloudy-to-clear quartz that contains tiny threads of other minerals as fine and golden as the Goddess's flowing hair. Sky-blue glass beads with a pearly finish provide an accent, along with golden rose-shaped beads. The pendant is made from a 19th-century French optician's lens. The text is from an antique songbook from about 1915.
