The Sibyl

The name "Sibyl" was given to many women in antiquity who could see beyond the unseen, using divination and prophecy to advise those who sought her wisdom. Modern sibyls can invoke her insight with this rosary necklace in rich shades of rose and peach fire-polished Czech glass, with a bit of midnight-black accented with Swarovski crystals. The amulet is a 19th French century optician's lens, with hand-painted art paper and antique text on the reverse.
