The Lunar Phase Oracle

Introduction

Our lovely celestial ally, the Moon, offers us a perfect metaphor for the ever-moving cycles of our own lives in Her constantly changing face. Each of the Moon's eight phases carries a distinct energy, corresponding with the eight points on the Wheel of the Year, and in recognizing and working with these energies we can determine where our greatest potential lies and use that potential to create beauty in our lives.

The Lunar Phase Oracle is not so much a system for divining the future as it is a means for gaining insight into the patterns of energy that are dominant in your life at a given time. While the actual phase of the moon is always influencing us on a personal and societal level, there are other cycles at work, too – our natal moon phase, our lifetime lunar phases, and of course many, many other factors, not the least of which is our own free will!

The messages you receive from this oracle are in no way meant to supercede the wisdom of any of these other influences. Rather, they are meant to offer additional information, and hopefully help you see things you might otherwise have missed. On the next page, you'll find suggestions on how to use the oracle, but you may certainly use it in any way that feels right to you.
