Kwan Yin: Bodhisattva of Mercy

This collage was one of those happy accidents where several pieces
come together to appear seamless. The cloth upon which the goddess
sits is from an English decorating magazine, the goddess herself
from a museum catalogue, and the wheel of the elements from an old
book on divination. I made this portrait for my friend Beth, who
embodies this calm and restful balance...
