I'm Lunaea Weatherstone. It has been my privilege to serve the Goddess community for more than twenty years as priestess, writer, artist, and tarot counselor. My vocation of community and connection first found a home in the pages of SageWoman magazine, as editor and publisher. I've written extensively on magic, tarot, the Goddess, and living the spiritual life, most recently as writer, editor, and artist for calendars and other projects published by Amber Lotus Publishing, including writing the text for their best-selling Celtic Mandala journal. I'm a regular columnist for SageWoman, writing on the Queen aspect of the Goddess and of a woman's life. In addition to my work as writer and editor, one of my passions is visual art, creating collage images, Goddess rosaries, and assemblage shrines. As a priestess of Brigid, creating art has become a central part of my own spiritual practice, and that includes encouraging others to try their hand as well. Divination is also an important part of my spiritual path. I've been reading and working with the Tarot since 1972, offering readings both in person and long distance, as well as teaching Tarot and other forms of divination. I completed my own collage tarot deck in 1995, which was a true labor of love and blissful devotion. The Full Moon Dreams Tarot is available online for you to see and get a mini-reading. I've also made an online Temple to the Goddess, which I invite you to visit. In the spring of 1999, I co-created Ninth Wave, an apprenticeship in Goddess magic, with priestess MaryScarlett Amaris. MaryScarlett has continued on to other things, and Ninth Wave has since been rewritten and revised. In the autumn of 2001, the Sisterhood of the Silver Branch was born, encompassing Ninth Wave, the second year program Farther Shore, as well as priestess training and other resources for women of spirit. I am honored to serve as Grove Mother for the Sisterhood, as well as priestess and teacher. On these pages, all the collages (with the exception of a few logos specifically for the Web pages) were made in the traditional, paper/glue way, not digitally. Creating my own tarot deck was a labor of love, and I'm so happy to be able to share it with you here. Private tarot readings are available by email, or in person if you are in the Santa Cruz area. Readings are $75. Contact me at the email address below if you are interested. All art is copyrighted and may not be used without permission. |
